Avid NEXIS version 2023.8.0 is a major release for on-premises systems only that contains the following features and fixes:
• Support for 175 million files using the Avid NEXIS | SDA+
• Support for using Windows 10 build 22H2 on Avid NEXIS clients.
• Improved remote performance (in Avid NEXIS | EDGE workflows), especially for listing directories with large numbers of files.
Avid NEXIS | F2 SSD supports redundant controllers, each with dual 100GbE interfaces. This model supports one or two all-SSD Media Packs and up to two spare drives.
• 3.48TB drives, yielding a total Engine capacity of 38.4TB (one Media Pack) or 76.8TB (two Media
Packs)
• 15.3TB drives, yielding a total Engine capacity of 153.6TB (one Media Pack) or 307TB (two Media
Packs)
