The Western Association of Broadcast Engineers (a.k.a. WABE) is a non-profit organization with the objectives to promote and advance the dissemination of engineering knowledge among its members. It aims at representing the interests of the majority of its members to duly appointed technical, educational, and legislative institutions. The primary means of achieving this is by organization of an annual convention at which appropriate engineering papers are presented and current broadcast equipment is exhibited. Each year, WABE holds an annual convention that highlights the best of radio and television technologies and provides a venue for engineers to share information and their experiences.
The 2025 WABE convention returns to the Calgary Telus Convention Centre on September 30 and October 01. Join us at WABE Booth #63 where DeltechCGI will showcase solutions that allow broadcasters, regional networks and local affiliates to effortlessly reach audiences.
